National Entertainment Network will now highlight Funko POP! Machines across the US in new joint venture Broomfield, Colorado, May 15, 2013 – National Entertainment Network (NEN), the nations largest amusement vending operator and Funko, a character-based global toy company, have announced a collaborative venture to introduce a new “claw” based amusement vending machine that will merchandise 100% Funko POP! products as prizes.

This new game format will feature popular characters from the Funko POP! Collectors’ series. These vinyl figures represent miniaturized versions of iconic celebrities made famous from pop culture.

These new skill cranes will initially roll out the beginning of June to 20 front-end retail locations across the nation. Gregg Smith, Marketing Director for NEN stated, “We anticipate these games will be popular for crane players and Funko collectors alike and will expand both companies’ client base.”

NEN has plans to introduce over 200 Funko cranes to brick and mortar national chain retailers and restaurant locations coast to coast.

The cost for one play of the Funko skill crane games will be set at an economical $1.00. Jen McNeill, the Product Development Director at NEN, can’t help but call the figures anything but, “Cute, our customers will love playing for them in machines and the Funko fans will hopefully love the chance to play and win new characters at a great price!”
